How is the studio calendar structured?
Lessons are offered from January through December. Forty lessons are scheduled during the year. All lessons missed by the instructor will be rescheduled. If a student misses a lesson, there are 3 makeup opportunities in May, August, and December.
How does tuition work?
Tuition is a monthly flat rate fee charged via subscription.
Can adults start piano?
Absolutely! Don’t let a limiting belief keep you from experiencing the joys of piano! Learning to play piano as an adult can not only be a fun creative outlet, but also a way to reduce stress from the workforce.
Can senior citizens learn to play piano?
Yes, definitely! Learning the piano can greatly improve hand/eye coordination, reduce inflammation, preserve memory, and offer several other health benefits. Plus it’s a great way to connect with others especially if you live alone!
How young can my child start?
Contrary to popular belief, students can begin at the age of 4 without knowing their alphabet or basic phonics. The focus during these early years is on rhythm, pitch, memory, and fine motor skills. The biggest contributing factor to your child’s musical success in your involvement as a parent. You would be surprised what a preschooler is capable of at the piano!
What to do in case of illness…
Thankfully germs can’t spread through the internet! The beauty of online lessons is found in connecting without physical contact. In this way, your child will still being able to attend lessons despite a cough or runny nose. However, if your child is very ill and unable to log on for his lesson, a built-in makeup lesson is scheduled at the end of each semester.
Can siblings share a lesson slot?
Private lessons are conducted on a 1:1 basis and therefore not transferable among siblings.
