45 Min. Lessons
This lesson length will allow beginners to learn lengthier songs as well as grasp rhythm, the musical alphabet, finger numbers, keyboard geography, fine motor skills development, and piano posture. Note reading is also introduced.
Students are shown how to reach a deeper meaning of expression in their playing and how to connect effectively with an audience. At the end of the semester, the student is ready to perform in a studio recital with other peers.
Music theory also becomes an important part of weekly instruction. The learner can begin to understand musical framework and relationship of the notes and train their ear.

60 Min. Lessons
Ideal for early advanced-advanced students and adult learners. Detailed technical instruction is covered such as 4-octave scale and scale formulas, major, minor, & diminished chords, and arpeggios. Heavy use of the metronome is taught as well as sight reading and ear training. Personal goals in practice routines are also discussed. The student has more time to devote to music theory and is ready to perform in a studio recital at the end of the semester.

Theory Tutoring
These 30, 45, or 60 min. sessions are designed to help the student excel in understanding the framework behind classical music. The well-rounded, college-prep Royal Conservatory of Music workbooks constitute the curriculum and a test is given at the end of the semester. Several practice exercises are worked through during the lesson.
